Base Camp
Fry is a middle of the field, top of the lineup impact player. He is a blend of raw tools and baseball instincts that will allow him to keep improving. A fluid athlete who moves well with light feet and fields the ball with soft hands. Fry has a very compact and direct swing with little to no wasted movement, allowing him to make consistent hard contact.
The Ascent
Fry’s arm strength went from 78 to 81 MPH in the span of a year. Exit velocity also jumped from 82 to 87 MPH in the same time span. Look for him to continue climbing with these measurables as he matures and continues to work at his craft.
Reaching the Summit
“Fry is a complete player who is already near the top of the class of 2021 rankings, currently checking in at number 24, but look for him to explode on the scene this summer in recruiting circles. A key to Fry’s continued success will be to add strength through weight room work and maturity while still maintaining his flexibility and athleticism to allow him to stay in the middle of the diamond defensively. He is the type of power and speed combination that college coaches are constantly searching for. Fry is only beginning to scratch the surface of his true potential”
