NY Games (June 27-29, 2016)
At 5’10” and 180, Spinoso has a good build for a RHP/SS. He ran a 7.31 60 with a 7.23 60 on record. Offensively- Hands start above ears, slightly open. Loads nicely on bent back leg and strides to a toe touch for his load. Bat cocked well at a 45 degree angle. Has impressive hand quickness and transfers weight to the front side violently. Finishes just above shoulders. It will be exciting to see Spinoso swing it at the next level. Exit velocity: 92 MPH (2 MPH increase from 2/2016). Pitching- slight drift toward first prior to leg kick. Chest high kick, coils back leg as he comes through to generate power and velocity to home plate. Lands squared up to the catcher and falls of slightly toward the first base line. Live arm who’s FB topped out at 86 MPH (85-86 MPH RANGE) CB 71-72(11-to-5 shape; above average spin). Dual position capabilities at the next level.
Preseason All-State (February 28, 2016)
First time seeing Spinoso since Aug, 2014. He's up two-inches from 5-foot-8 to now 5-foot-10, 180-pounds. Very athletic and strong and oozes confidence. Offensively - his setup is relaxed, open, with his hands loose level with his head. Smooth back-load on the pitch setting the barrel in a vertical position. Hands are strong and quick, repeatable swing with plenty of juice (90-mph exit velocity). Barrel is flat through contact, balanced through his finish shoulder high. Defensively - Displays above average actions getting his body around the baseball with very active feet. Soft clean glove work, transfers the ball smoothly, arm action gets long creating a slower release but athletic enough to make that adjustment. Strong arm topping 84 MPH across the diamond from a high-3/4 slot. Pitching - he uses a wide, strong base to a simple delivery. Hands follow his leg path, breaks his hands at his chest level. Drops and drives firmly on his back-side, long arm-action with excellent shoulder separation. He uses his front-side exceptionally, throwing from an over-the-top slot from the mound. Fastball peaked at 84 mph but with his hand-speed, this spring and summer we will see that number elevate. Curveball has next-level spin showing 11/5 shape at 66-67. Change up sat 70-72 with fastball hand-speed. Mechanically landing more on the ball of his stride leg will help free up more hand-speed. Overall a very sound dual-prospect in the 2017 class.

Top Prospect Games (August 16, 2014)
Pitching - Spinoso stands 5-foot-8 155-pounds with a slender, strong build. On the mound he uses a big side step and high knee lift. He pushes hard off his back side and throws from a high ¾ slot. His fastball sits 80-83 mph with quick hand speed. His curveball has 11/5 hard shape at 72 mph. He has a chance to be very good with continued development and hard work, definitely a follow. Defensively- In the infield he shows signs of great athleticism getting to balls laterally quick with control and balance. He fields the ball smoothly out in front of his body, moving his feet towards the target, using a clean transfer and release from a high ¾ slot with plus arm strength at 82 mph. Offensively- At the plate he starts relaxed and balanced, on the pitch he uses a small back load and stride. He drives his back side through the ball with a bat path that stays level through the zone with a medium / high finish. His exit velocity was 78 mph off a tee and he ran a 4.3 home to first time.
