Physical: Athletic, durable 6-foot-2, 218lb starter’s frame oozing strength and feel out on the bump; recent Central Connecticut State commit.
Pitching: RHP - Started tall and imposing off the far left side of the rubber, gaining consistent pace throughout the delivery and getting down the slope with a clean look in the mechanics. Everything worked with perfect timing, executing a strong hip-drive into footstrike, blocking off properly. Released from a loose, H ¾ slot and pounded the zone, missing barrels with electricity up to T90 mph (2283 spin, held 86-89 mph, 43% zone rate). Mixed a sharp 76-79 mph SL showing power action at times up to 6 inches of late HM. Then landed a good 80-84 mph CH that was well commanded to the arm-side and able to deceptively tunnel off the heater. Strikeout potential with an understanding of how to pitch and set hitters up.
