6-foot, 165-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Ran a 7.0 sixty on the laser at the event. The infield defense is very skilled as he moves laterally well and the foot work is appropriate. Threw 89 mph across the diamond with ease, and the arm has more in it. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 90 mph. The setup is even, small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The hands work free and clean to the ball, small lift of the bat plane as he gets into contact. Excellent looking prospect with the ability to play anywhere in the infield.
Call to the Hall (July 24, 2018)
Scrappy, athletic 5-foot-9 155 pound middle infielder who ran a 7.11 60. Offensively- Line-to-line approach in the box with some inside-out tendencies within his swing. Showed some punch on occasion to his pull side; exit velocity recently bumped to 96 MPH. Has solid in-game at-bats; works counts, fouls off tough pitches. Grinder mentality. Defensively- Showed plenty of athleticism around the bag; able to spin the double play from both sides. Plenty of arm from the left side with a peak of 87 MPH across the diamond. Ranges well, makes the play on the move and can alter his arm slot when needed. Solid all-around player who should compete right away at Virginia Tech.

The 5-foot-9, SS demonstrated his next level skills making two nice plays and going 3 for 3 with a double, HR and an RBI. Demonstrated a strong arm in the field and lateral quickness getting to several balls. High end player committed to Virginia Tech. Ranked #9 in NYS for 2019.
ProCase (June 26, 2017)
Wiry athletic infielder who ran a 6.89 60 on natural grass. Offensively- Even setup with weight slightly over the back leg; quiet take back of the hands with an up-down stride. Works the ball from the middle of the field to the opposite foul line with a line drive, table-setter approach. Exit velocity peaked at 85 MPH with the wood. Defensively- Stays on the balls of his feet with his approach, timing and adjusting with the angle. Works through the ball well and can throw from multiple angles. Peak arm strength of 80 MPH with more in the tank.

Watching I/O was impressive all the way around the infield for Kingston, Genther stood out, playing the part well beyond his years. Accurate arm with quick release. Hands were steady and showed good lateral actions. At the plate the Freshman hit leadoff for the Tigers, starting the game off with an opposite field line drive double. Expanded the zone later in his at bats but with experience he will be a player that will put together consistent quality at bats.
