Physical: Compact, durable 5-foot-7, 150lb frame with some strength present. 7.79 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Wide, even stance with the hands bouncing at a moderate pace, flat on the shoulder. Utilized a short toe tap stride as the bat head initiated through a flat, accurate path into the hitting zone. Showed off feel for the top hand, delivering the barrel with confidence at the front of the plate and matching pitch-plane out of the hand. Handsy, top of the order approach en route to an impressive 64% line drive rate (via Trackman) during his batting practice round. Worked up to a T84 mph bat-exit velocity with mostly singles power at the moment (good bat to ball skills).
Defensively: The primary backstop featured adequate glove hand actions, receiving from a traditional setup. Pop times ranged from 2.05-2.15 showcasing quick transfers from glove to throwing hand, as an immediate trigger released from ¾ slot (accurate, 69 mph). Able to repeat the movements and stay under the pitch on catch/throw phase, creating efficiency. Will continue improving as he holds additional strength.
