CB: 70 MPH; lands for strikes.
Physical: Lengthy, high-waisted 6-foot-1, 170lb frame with leverage. 7.18 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Wider, upright stance as the barrel tilted at a 45 at the head to begin; utilized a leg lift stride, up/down to initiate the barrel through a slightly uphill, high intent path into the hitting zone. Finished at a higher position on the back shoulder with adjustability found, recording a 55% fly ball rate and some loft in the approach. Stayed on the rear hip and created separation en route to a T89 mph bat-exit velocity that produced a 340 foot batted ball distance (doubles power, middle of the order consideration).
Defensively: The primary shortstop featured quality pace during defense, presenting the glove hand early with soft actions inward. Kept momentum over the front side, releasing from an accurate, high intent OTT slot to the target (80 mph arm). Moved to the outfield, utilizing a hop in the prep step and good reads to set the feet up in advantage positions. Fielded and funneled off the left side, releasing up to an 82 mph arm strength.
