9/18/20

Physical: 6-foot-2, 165 pounds; lanky, long lower half. Projectable frame; 7.29 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Upright , slightly closed off stance with an upright bat; drifts forward as the hands work back to the catcher, stiff front leg propelling himself to the ball. Limited use of the lower half, does not transfer much weight on the backside but does rotate the lower half well with a fairly level barrel path that goes into a high one handed finish. Pulled hard line drives to the pull side and back up the middle, good bat to ball skills; peak Trackman exit velocity of 84 MPH.
Defensively: Low, angled off stance with glove foot in front; moves very quickly out of the crouch, utilizing a quick switch of the feet to propel himself to the target. Firm glove hand that works up through the ball keeping it in the zone with a quick transfer to throw; short arm action with a take back to the ear, throws from a short 3/4 slot. 2.00-2.18 pop times. C - 78 MPH.
Pitching: Impressive in his bullpen. Works down the mound with tempo and an exceptional hinge at the hips. Long, swinging arm action into an over the top slot. Gets downhill on the ball with intent. FB: T 81MPH, 80-81 MPH. Very good spin on the FB, gives him the ability to have success at the top of the zone. CH: 71-73 MPH. Throws a changeup that has a good difference in speed compared to the FB, giving it deception.

Physical: 6-foot-2, 165 pounds; athletic build, good frame to add to. 7.46 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even stance, with some weight loaded on back foot; small weight shift into a slight leg lift. Average lower half effort, drifts into contact with downhill swing path with good barrel speed, in and out of the zone.  Solid line drives to pull side and good contact to opposite field; peak Trackman exit velocity of 83 MPH.
Defensively: Low to ground, keeps one knee lower; quick pop, quick feet lead him to a strong lower half. Good receiver, soft hands and clean transfer; quick take back into 3/4 slot . 2.07-2.17  C - 77 MPH.
Pitching: Worked only out of the stretch, fast tempo delivery with high leg kick . Long arm swing with a quick lockout out of the glove, high 3/4 slot . FB: T 82MPH, 79-82 MPH. Fastball plays up with late ride and an average spin rate. CB: 68-70 MPH. Curveball has good shape with late break. SL:  Slider has sharp two plane action, pairs well with fastball. CH: 73-76 MPH. Good armside fade on changeup, good mix in speed from other pitches.

Physical: 6-foot-2, 165 pounds; long, athletic, projectable build. 7.71 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Wide stance with some bend in the knees; lift and replace leg lift. Average effort with compact bat path to the ball finishing high with one hand.  Hard pull side contact; peak Trackman exit velocity of 85 MPH.

Defensively: Low, offset stance; gets out of the crouch quickly and strides closed. Beats ball to the spot, clean transfer; medium arm swing with a 3/4 arm slot. 1.90-1.97 pop times. C - 75 MPH. INF - 72 MPH.

Pitching: Sets up in the stretch with his front foot closed off, high, quick leg kick with hip coil, drives well off his back leg and strides in line. Quick, whippy arm action out of a high 3/4 arm slot. FB: Peak velo of 84 MPH, while sitting 79-84 MPH. Arm side run. CB: 66-70 MPH. SL:  MPH. Two plane action. CH: 70-74 MPH. Arm side fade.

Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance with feet shoulder width apart. Short simple load actions. Slight lift at the point of contact. Displayed hard contact to the pull and middle part of the field. Stays balanced throughout the swing. Defensively- the 2021 graduate worked out as a catcher during the defensive portion at the Last Chance event. Presents a big target and displayed active footwork. Smooth exchange and quick release from a high 3/4 arm slot. Pop time range was 2.02-2.09.
