8/02/20

Physical: Durable / filled out 6-foot, 192-pound frame with increased strength in the lower half.

Pitching: RHP - Works from the stretch only off of the middle of the rubber, comes set with the front side deep across the body, high leg lift with advanced pace in the delivery, solid directional lower half drive with medium-high posture on the land, high ¾ arm-slot with quickness out of a moderate arm circle. FB ranged from 84-86 mph with good spin (upwards of 2223 rpms per Trackman Baseball) and pounded the zone. Mixed in a tight 68-70 mph breaker showing hard horizontal tilt and almost 2300 spin. Countered with a 70-71 mph CH with slight arm-side fade on the release, kept it mostly down in the zone.

Physical: 6-foot-0, 190 pounds; athletic, projectable frame. 7.64 runner in the 60.

 Offensively: RHH. Wide base with loud, high hands; uses a lift and replace stride. aggressive with high intent swing, flat path to the ball working uphill after the point of contact.  Pull-heavy approach with power developing; peak Trackman exit velocity of 94 MPH. 

 Pitching: Stretch only, comes set with his front foot closed off and his hands at his shoulders. He uses a high leg kick and strides directly towards the plate. Long arm swing with a high 3/4 arm slot. FB: T 86 MPH, 82-86 MPH. Shows some arm side run with ride through the top of the zone. CB: 66-73 MPH. Shows feel for an 11-5 breaker. SL: 62-70 MPH. Harder, shorter breaking with tight spin. CH: 68-69 MPH. Late fading action. 


2/17/20

Physical: 6-foot-0, 195-pounds. Strong athletic frame; filled out.

Hit: RHH. Wide stance feet are a little wider than shoulder width apart; slight bat wiggle; small leg lift and stride; back foot really comes off the ground, could be potential lose for power Consistent and solid contact all over; level swing and really barrels up the ball.
Power: 87 MPH raw exit velocity. Sprays the ball; pop is middle of the field; consistent line drives.
Defense: Squares up the ball; smooth glove work especially laterally; footwork is a little choppy laterally and on the run; does a good job working low with the ball.
Arm: Long arm swing; 3/4 arm slot. INF - 86 MPH.

Pitching Delivery: Hands go over the head for rhythm, high leg kick, stays tall with slight shoulder tilt on stride out; repeatable balanced finish.
Arm Action: Long arm action to a high 3/4 slot.
FB: T84, 81-84 MPH. Downhill plane with arm side run.
CB: 67-68 MPH. 12-6 with depth.
CH: 66-67 MPH. Maintains arm speed.
CUT: 71-73 MPH. Tight, late break

7/02/19

A projectable athletic frame at 5-foot-10, 145 pounds. Ran a 7.71 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance feet shoulder width apart. Quick direct path to the baseball. Does a good job using his lower half and stays balanced throughout the swing. Top exit velocity was 77 MPH. Defensively- the infielder displayed active footwork. He gets himself in a good fielding position when fielding the baseball. Displayed a strong arm from the left side of the infield at 78 MPH. Pitching- the right handed pitcher displayed a fast tempo delivery and a projectable live arm. FB has late life and peaked at 78 MPH. CB is tight and ranged from 61-64 MPH. The 2023 graduate will be one to follow as he continues to develop. 



2.18.19

A lean 5-foot-7, 125 pounds infielder. Ran a 8.15 60 yard dash. Offensively- Stands in the box with feet shoulder width apart. Gets into the load earlier with a slight pause before attacking the baseball. Quick to and out of the hitting zone. Clears the hips through contact. Some added strength and development to the 8th grader will increase his measurables. Exit velocity was 75 MPH. Defensively- Displayed active feet during the defensive portion. Moves well laterally and smooth exchange to a quick ¾ release across the diamond. Top throwing velocity across the diamond was 73 MPH. The 2023 graduate will be a follow as he continues to develop.


 

 

July 2018 

Defensively - sound middle infielder with high-level instincts, made plays on a series of bad-hop balls making several look routine, disciplined pre-pitch movement, sure glove, smooth and easy transfer with strong arm across the infield, decisive first step. Offensively - short to the ball, keeps hands inside the ball, uses middle third of the field.
