On Deck Preview: Junior Future Games

Not to be overshadowed by the Future Games, the JR Future Games will be a talent rich event that gives the players a glimpse of life on the big stage. Let's take a look at who will be joining us this week at Lakepoint in Georgia.

Team NY JR Futures 

Justin Acevedo SS / OF / CTEA, NY / 2023

Acevedo is slick fielding SS. At the plate, the switch hitter brings pop from both sides. Look for Acevedo to be a standout player at the JR Games. 

 

 

 

 

Adam Agresti C / 1B / Kennedy Catholic, NY / 2023

Agresti is a projectable physical C with advanced hitting tools. Best pop time was 2.09. Look for Agresti to make an impact also at 1B. 

 

 

 

 

James Capellupo III SS / RHP / Hilton, NY / 2023

Capellupo is a true two way player that will have an impact with the bat and on the mound. Capellupo III will run it up 78 MPH. 

 

 

 

 

Luca Ciaramitaro 1B / RHP / Penfield , NY / 2023

Ciramitaro is a physical 1B at 6-foot-2, 215 pounds. The 1B continues to impress every time we see him. Luca was impressive at the NY Jr Games displaying major pop. 

 

 

 

 

Jackson Cook C / OF / Horseheads, NY / 2023

Cook will be a Catcher to follow at the Jr Games. Cook had a best pop time of 2.01. At the plate, Cook hits from the left side and looks to do damage. 

 

 

 

 

Jackson DiLorenzo SS / RHP / Walter Panas, NY / 2023

DiLorenzo has a physical frame. Solid actions defensively and brings some juice with the bat. DiLorenzo is a true two way player that will make an impact. 

 

 

 

 

Michael Furst RHP / 3B / Oceanside, NY / 2023

A big 6-foot-1, 210 pounds. Furst has tons of upside and will make an impact on the mound and at the hot corner. 

 

 

 

 

Tony Humphrey OF / RHP / Iona Prep, NY / 2023

Humphrey is an athletic player to follow at the Future Jr Games. The OF runs a sub 7 60 yard dash and offensively has pop.  

 

 

 

 

Jaden Madrid 2B / SS / Greece Athena, NY / 2023

The 2023 infielder has solid actions defensively. At the plate the right handed hitter has a simple approach and looks to do damage. 

 

 

 

 

Luke Petryszak SS / 2B / Portville , NY / 2024

The 2024 INF will have an impact on the mound and at the plate. A true two way player that as tons of upside. 

 

 

 

 

Benjamin Raphael SS / RHP / Briarcliff, NY / 2023

Raphael is a two way player that will make an impact in the Inf and on the mound. The 2023 graduate was impressive in live game action at the NY Jr Games. 

 

 

 

 

Denali Rivera C / 2B / Unknown , NY / 2024

Rivera is athletic enough to play all over the field. He is a fast twitch player. Simple actions at the plate that looks to put pressure on the defense. 

 

 

 

 

Zackary Sperger SS / RHP / Lansing , NY / 2023

Sperger is a player with a lot of potential. Sperger will impressive on the mound and will bring some pop at the player. Athletic player that can play anywhere on the field. 

 

 

 

 

Casey Vaughn RHP / OF / CBA - Syracuse , NY / 2023

Vaughn has a live arm with a projectable frame at 6-foot-1. Vaughn will run his FB to 82 MPH. Look for Vaughn to make an impact on the mound and at the plate. 

 

 

 

 

Sam Weiner LHP / OF / Croton-Harmon, NY / 2023

A physical true two way player. Weiner will bring some pop offensively and the LHP brings a mid 70's FB on the mound.
