Humphrey stands in at 5-foot-1, 110-pounds. Ran a 7.74 – 60. Offensively- Righty sets up square to the pitcher with a smooth trigger to get into the hitting position. Quick hands to the hitting zone with a slight upward barrel lift path throughout. Utilizes good lower body rotation getting whole frame involved in the swing. Made consistent contact during batting practice round up the middle and to the pull side. Recorded an exit velocity of 66 MPH. Defensively- Good approach and footwork to the baseball. Makes smooth movements throughout the crow hop to get behind the throw. Appropriate outfielder arm swing with accurate throws. Recorded a positional arm velocity of 64 MPH. Talented 2023 graduate to keep an eye on.
