More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 89 MPH via Trackman. natural lift and pop to the pull side. Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep step while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are soft with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. 6/30/21
Physical: Strong, projectable 6-foot-3, 215lb frame with durability present. 7.94 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Upright, even stance as the hands started at the shoulder to begin. Utilized a directional toe tap stride, landing at a wider attack while initiating through a flat path into the hitting zone. Liked to drive the ball hard to the pull-side, rotating towards the front of the plate with extra extension up to a T94 mph bat-exit velocity (via Trackman). Big-time results when lifting, producing a 50% hard hit rate and 354 foot batted ball distance at his peak pointing towards a middle of the order type bat down the road. Stayed in the legs with good power transfer into a blocked off front-side.
Defensively: The third baseman operated with moderate to higher posture, bending at the waist while fielding off the middle of his body. Adequate pace towards the target, shuffling once while standing up to a tall position at the release from H ¾ slot (80 mph arm, carry, accurate).
7/02/19
A big physical build at 6-foot-2, 215 pounds. Ran an 8.57 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance feet shoulder width apart. Displayed an impressive batting practice round showing power potiental. Does a good job using his lower half and staying balanced throughout the swing. Top exit velocity was 78 MPH. Defensively- the 1B showed active footwork. Takes his time to gather himself when making throws. Throws from a mid ¾ arm slot. Top throwing velocity was 68 MPH. Pitching- the right handed pitcher displayed a repeatable delivery. Does a good job driving downhill from a balanced backside. Top FB was 78 MPH and has a CB with a tight spin at 54-56 MPH. The 2023 graduate has tons of upside with the bat. Ciaramitaro will be one to follow as he continues to develop.
