Stands 6 feet 0 Inches, 165-pounds with a slim athletic build to him. Ran a 4.56 home to 1st. Offensively- Stance is slightly open, with a short stride to the ball. Slow path to the ball, long swing through the zone.. Slow hands. Has a tendency to dip barrel through the hitting zone.Exit Velo- 76 MPH. Defensively- Choppy approach to the ball. Needs to be more active. Fields the ball deep in his stance. Slow transfer with average footwork. Throws over the top and sometimes has a arm slot. Infield Velo- 67 MPH. Pitching- Right hander stands tall and upright on the first base side of the mound. Has a rocker step, brings the front knee up to about waist high. Gets extension to the plate. Arm slot is at, slow arm action. Release comes high. Finishes to the plate well and is in an athletic position to field the ball. Fastball was sitting 69-71 with little movement. Topped out at 73 MPH. Change has movement to it, mixes speedswell with the fastball. Change was measured at 65-66.

Carrese stands in at 6-foot-0, 165-pounds. Ran a 7.84 – 60. Offensively- Shows a good trigger with level barrel path throughout the hitting zone. Utilizes good lower body rotation getting whole frame involved in the swing. Demonstrated line drive ability up the middle and to the pull side. Recorded an exit velocity of 71 MPH. Defensively- Good footwork and approach to the baseball. Funnels the ball in to the chest well with a quick transition to the throwing hand. Could use more aggressive footwork towards the intended target on the throw. Recorded a positional arm velocity of 72 MPH. Pitching- Mid thigh leg raise into a good separation. Could use more lower body to engage the whole frame more along with a stronger follow through. Fastball was 68-70 MPH and peaked at 70 MPH showing arm side run.
