Physical: Strong, proportional 5-foot-10, 175lb frame. Lots of athleticism available.
Pitching: RHP - Begins off the left side of the rubber utilizing a compact delivery (up tempo) to drive efficiently down the slope. Skilled mover and repeated, landing an 88-89 mph FB at H ¾ slot with hard run around 2195 rpms. Quick arm through the release, mixing a sharp, deceptive 72-74 mph CB on an 11/5 tilt and a wicked 76-78 mph SL that showed 12 inches AVG HM and a 67% zone rate. Also featured a quality 79-81 mph CH with good extension on the front-side. Strike-thrower, competes on the bump.
Physical: 5-foot-10, 155 pounds; lean, athletic frame. 7.58 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Wide stance with a slightly open front side, hands hold the bat upright with a tight grip; big leg kick with a barrel tip, keeps the hands moving well in a loose manner. Stays loaded in his back hip well, fires on foot strike and drives the back hip toward the pitcher with fairly level swing path, catches the ball out in front occasionally and creates good lift. Sprayed line drives and hard hit fly balls up the middle and to pull side; peak Trackman exit velocity of 86 MPH.
Defensively: Sets up tall, angled off in his stance with a firm back leg to help him propel forward; Uses a quick switch of his feet to move with good direction to the target. Soft hands that receive the ball quietly, easy transfer to throw; short take back to the ear into a twitchy throw from the ear. 2.08-2.15 pop times. C - 77 MPH.
