East-West Battle (July 2017)
Lefty with consistent hard contact. Full body build with above average bat-speed / hand-eye-coordination. Had a quality AB in game three at SUNY Cortland, took a 3-1 CB deep to the right center gap one hopping the fence for a stand-up double. This is what Siano does every time we see him in game situations, just hits.
NY Games (June 25-27, 2017)
Solidly-built 6-foot-2, 220-pound left-handed batter. Offensively - fluid and effortless swing, inner knee rotation triggers hips into a powerful motion for an exit velocity of 90 MPH; repeatable motion, keeps bat on level path through the strike zone, comfortable driving ball to middle third, makes consistent barrel contact, counter rotation between upper and lower torso could add to already impressive exit velocity. Defensively - basic footwork and fundamentals, sure glove, deliberate transfer, infield velocity of 64 MPH.
Preseason All-State (February 20, 2016)
Siano stands at 6-foot-2, 220 pounds. Lowered his 60 yard dash time by more than a half second to 7.55 seconds. Offensively- Begins with a balanced setup, feet just wider than shoulders and knees bent. Has a small stride forward as his hands load backwards. Hips are rotational to ball and swing plane is slightly uphill with extension through contact. Exit velocity continued to increase and reached 94 MPH off the tee, up from his previous best of 88 MPH. Pull side power projection. Defensively- Takes short, choppy steps to the ball. Sets up with feet close together and bends at the waist. Fields ball back underneath body. Steps behind front foot to generate momentum on throws. Had throws of 73 MPH across the infield, a large increase over his previous best of 60 MPH.
New York Games (June 27-29, 2016)
Siano stands in at 6-foot-1; 220 pounds with a corner infield frame. Room to develop strength and athleticism as his body matures. Ran an 8.06 – 60 time. Offensively- Slightly closed approach, hands in front of back shoulder with slight movement of the bat. On pitch his trigger is a quiet step forward remaining closed off with slight movement of his hands back. Swing plane is short to the hitting zone with his weight transfer being on his front leg on contact. High two handed finish with good rotation of bottom half. Displays an inside-out swing, and mostly hit the baseball the other way during the NYS Games. Displayed an exit velocity of 88 mph. Defensively- Fluid fielding the ball with good approach and footwork. Tends to not follow through on throws, can be improved with a shorter arm swing and improved arm strength. Good footwork around the bag at 1B. Displayed a position velocity of 60 mph.
Eastern NY All-Star Games (September 13, 2015)
Stands at 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, with a bigger body build.  Defensively – At first base looked good fielding through the ball and receiving throws from the position players, throws with a high 3/4 arm slot.  Offensively - At the plate his setup is relaxed and balanced, little leg kick stride, with a back load.  His hands are very compact, swinging with some uphill tilt, with a high finish with extension through the ball. Exit velocity was 85 MPH and he ran a 4.96 home to 1B.
