 Athletic 5-foot-9, 175-pound outfielder, ran a 6.38/60. New York Games (June 27-29, 2016)
Sabatine stands 5-foot-9 and weighs 170-pounds, from a strong extremely athletic build. His well above average 6.6-second 60 makes him a threat on the base paths and in the outfield. Offensively- Hands start at shoulder with slight movement back during load. Flat barrel, stays level through the zone and stays on back leg well, consistent contact from a compact athletic swing. High finish with an exit velocity of 84 MPH. Defensively- Comes through ball smoothly in the outfield and uses momentum and strong over the top arm angle to throw 82 MPH from the outfield, clear signs of more velocity projection. Reads fly balls and ground balls well with little-to-no wasted movement. Top-end 2018 from the western side of NY.
