Well put together 6-foot-0 185 pound LHH with consistent, line drive contact during his batting practices; stays short into the zone with acceleration through contact with a one-handed late release on his extension. Proper footwork; clean hands and plenty of arm from the 1B position. On the verge of having the footspeed to also work in at RF at the next level. Abiilities on the mound could also dictate future as he had a solid appearance working 85-88 MPH vs. Team CT.

Physical, solid build from chest through legs. Old fashioned hands over head delivery. Stayed around the plate over his two innings while working mostly 86-88 MPH in his first inning with a short action CB at 71-73 that did show consistent down action. Settled in at 84-86 in his second inning work and continued to command CB.

6/25/19

A physical projectable frame at 6-foot-tall, 185 pounds. Ran a 7.36 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- The left handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance, loose hands. Feet shoulder width apart. Has a slight leg lift before attacking the hitting zone. Has a flat bat path throughout the hitting zone. Showed hard consistent contact during the hitting portion. Has a lot left in the tank. Stays balanced throughout his swing. Top exit velocity was 90 MPH. Defensively- The first baseman sits back on the baseball. Fields the baseball slightly upright. Gets rid of the baseball from a high ¾ arm slot. Moves well side to side. Top throwing velocity from the infield was 78 MPH. Pitching- The RHP displayed a repeatable delivery and has a projectable live arm. Has an over the top delivery. Takes his time throughout the delivery and gets to a balanced back side and drives downhill with low effort. FB has some downward tilt and showed command of a FB which peaked at 87 MPH. FB ranged from 84-86 MPH. CB has late tumbling action at 68-69 MPH. The 2021 graduate is a true dual player and is a must follow.


2/18/19

Physical 6-foot-0, 185 pounds. Ran a 7.60 60 yard dash. Offensively- Tall stance in the box. Loose hands with a short simple load that's quick to the hitting zone. Stays balanced throughout the swing and has an upright finish. Displayed short compact swing with power potential with a 90 MPH exit velocity. Defensively- Has athletic actions, under control when attacking the baseball. Quick exchange to a loose ¾ arm action. Infield velocity was 73 MPH. Pitching- Under control repeatable delivery. Takes his time to get into his balance point with a closed front side and a high leg kick. Smooth hand separation, drives downhill with intent, will fall off to the first base side. FB peaked at 86 MPH and displayed a sharp CC 66-68 MPH. The 2021 graduate has a high ceiling at the plate and on the mound. The dual player has a live loose easy arm that has a lot left in the tank.

9/30/18

Lean, wiry frame at 6-foot, 185-pounds. Offensively – Narrow, upright stance, slightly open to the pitcher. Uses leg lift to load before getting into forward stride. Maintains constant rhythm with the hands. Gets barrel level in the zone quickly and showed consistent line drive contact during BP. Loose wrists. Hands stay inside of the ball. Projects to add more power in the future. Defensively – Athletic actions at 1B. Light on his feet while moving laterally. Consistently received ball in center of body in wide, athletic base. Funneled into throws quickly. Clean, loose arm action from ¾ slot.

7/23/18

Big, athletic frame. Lefty hitter with an open stance, had consistent hand waggle as effective timing mechanism. Showed power to left center. Smooth, simple mechanics on the mound, worked 79 in relief with his curve at 66.
