Pitching: RHP - Starts from the middle of the rubber, short side rocker step with a medium leg lift, good hip shoulder separation upon footstrike with a medium-high posture throughout, arm worked through a high ¾ slot with a moderate arm circle. FB ranged from 83-86 mph with slight arm-side run and an upwards of 2152 spin per Trackman Baseball. Mixed in a sharp 78-80 mph SL showing late, sharp horizontal plane / 2123 average spin .. will be an obvious strikeout offering. Countered with a 78-79 mph CH with small arm-side fade and feel in the zone.
Physical: Lengthy, tall, projectable 6-foot-3, 175-pound frame with a starter’s build and ability to continue filling out a well proportioned frame. Villanova commit.
Pitching: RHP - Controlled, deliberate tempo with increased mound presence, strides in a straight line towards the plate with repetitive hand break at the chest line. Smooth, high ¾ release with quickness on the front side allowing for an 84-86 mph T87 FB with a 2152 max spin rate per Trackman Baseball. Commanded a hard 78-80 mph SL with tight breaking horizontal bite and countered with a 77-79 mph CH with high level deception while being thrown at near FB arm speed. Throws any pitch in any count with confidence.
Physical: 6-foot-2, 170-pounds. Tall, long build, potential to add size and strength.
Pitching Delivery: Controlled tempo with lower half, hands separate on stride out syncing up to accelerate through release.
Arm Action: Mid arm action dropping to a neutral position, consistent high 3/4 release.
FB: T83, 81-83 MPH. Works downhill with arm side run.
CB: 71-73 MPH. 12-6 action.
CH: 75-79 MPH. Straight change, maintains arm speed.
Projectable athletic build at 6-foot-2,168 pounds. Pitching- The RHP displayed a repeatable delivery and a projectable loose arm. Takes his time to gather himself. Works with a high knee lift. Has smooth hand separation. Has slight shoulder tilt. FB has some downward tilt. FB peaked at 79 MPH. FB ranged from 76-78 MPH. CB has some late downward action and ranged from 69-70 MPH. The 2022 graduate has tons of upside and is a must follow.
