2/16/20 Position Player
Hit: Uses a slightly crouched stance from the right side. Leg lift timing trigger that leads to a slightly front side launch. Aggressive swinger. Downhill path with a nice combination of strength and speed to hands. Adding loft should improve both exit and carry. Has the tools to work with. 
Power: Top exit velocity was 82 mph in BP, carrying the baseball a top distance of 271 feet.
Offensive Projection: TBD. Showed athleticism/burst. More to come.
Field: Aggressive outfielder that plays fast. Gets too and through in a timely fashion. Showed ball skill on par for class.
Throw: Tossed it to home plate with a top velocity of 82 mph. Arm plays as an above average tool for class.
Defensive Projection: OF. 

2/16/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: Moves well on the mound. Good athlete with some explosiveness to delivery. Arm shows above average speed and strength for class.
Fastball: Fastball works downhill with occasional arm side action, topping at 79 mph.
Curveball: 62-65 mph. Gradual action with some pop out of the hand. 11/5 shape.
Changeup: Occasionally showed a change that was playable at 75 mph.

Body Type:  5-foot-10, 145-pound thin frame.

Swing Mechanics:  Leg kick that loads hands well.  Good feel in the box.

Hit:  Uphill bat path with a pull side approach.  Natural ball flight to the middle part of the field.  Line drives most of his BP round.

Power:  Line drive guy right now.  More to come as he develops and adds size.

Offensive Projection:  TBD.
Field: Plays with quick feet to and through in the outfield. Ball skills appear to be on par for class. Looks comfortable/confident out there.
Throw: Near high-¾ slot with some jump out of the hand and more to come.
Defensive Projection: Multiple Positions.

2/17/19

Body Type: 5-foot-10, 145 pounds. Athletic frame with room to fill in.

Swing Mechanics: Displayed a wider, open stance in the box prior to his bigger load. Generates energy very well into his swing leading to an uphill stroke.

Hit: Produced great contact overall staying through pitches long and driving them.

Power: 84 mph exit velocity showing off bat strength while staying with a more middle of the field power approach.

Offensive Projection: Multiple role potential.

Run: 7.29 seconds 60-yard.
Field: Glovework played well in the outfield defensively. Footwork is improving in approach when attacking the ball more efficiently.

Throw: 75 mph from the outfield showing off arm strength and was accurate.
Defensive Projection: Outfielder - multiple roles.

2/17/19 Pitching
Body Type: 5-foot-10, 145-pound athletic frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: High-¾ right-hander with fluid actions. Good tempo to a delivery that requires some effort.
Fastball: 71-74 mph.  His best offering right now. Tossed the pitch in the zone consistently with some arm side action to it.
Curveball: 53-57 mph. 11/5 shaped offering with gradual action. Developing pitch.
Changeup: 62-63 mph.  Slows arm a tad on the pitch that stays relatively true through the zone.
Pitchability: FIlled it up with the fastball, secondary stuff is developing.

3/4/18
5-foot-10, 140 pound right handed hitting prospect has an uphill swing with fast hands shows solid intent behind each swing he took. Creates great separation in gets into a strong load. Lower half activates well and gets extended through the ball nicely. Showed signs of power pull-side. Exit velocity was 73 mph. In the outfield he plays under control too and through the baseball. Varies between playing one or two handed through the ball displaying average ball skills. Uses shorter arm action and showed accuracy on his throws to home plate. The right-handed pitcher displays projectability with his frame on the mound. Displays some quickness in arm action as he throws through a 3/4 slot. Fastball creates some lite arm-side run while sitting 65-69 mph. His breaking ball displays gradual 11/5 break at 53-54 mph. Also mixes in a 55-58 mph changeup.
