Body Type: 6-foot-3, 190-pound projectable southpaw with long levers and room to add. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Fluid tempo on the mound to a delivery that doesn’t require much effort. Strike thrower that fills it up with his three-pitch mix. Arm has some looseness to it through a near ¾ slot. Fastball: 77-80 mph. 1800-2000 spin rate guy with low 90s spin efficiency. Pounds the zone with the offering that will work both sides of the plate. Curveball: 70-71 mph. Big breaker with quality action. Tossed the pitch in the zone regularly. Changeup: Maintains arm speed on the offering that fades through the zone at 66-68 mph. Pitchability: Strike thrower.

Body Type: 6-foot-3, 190-pound physical, projectable frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Uptempo delivery on the mound that doesn’t require a ton of effort. ¾ left-hander with slinging arm action with looseness to it and above average arm speed, Cross fire type. Fastball: 77-81 mph. Combination of length/slot create a tough angle for hitters on both sides of the plate. Ball comes out well. Could see more mphs in there. Slider: 69-70 mph. Above average pitch that sweeps across the zone with sharp action. Solid feel for the offering. Changeup: 68-69 mph. Quality third offering that is more than playable. Didn’t throw it often but when he did it looked sharp. Pitchability: Strike thrower. Additional Comments: Definite college future with a chance to improve his stock with potential velo jump. Like the versatility he brings. Could be a matchup lefty out of the bullpen with that slot but the lower effort and feel for three pitches could allow him to start if need be.

6-foot-3, 185-pound frame that shows projection and a high upside. Using a big side step to active his delivery before a normal leg lift with slight inward turn. Arm action is long with a slight jab after breaking the hands. Fastball sits 79-80 mph while working through a high ¾ slot. Curveball is 1/7 with some depth at 69-71 mph. Breaking ball occasionally was more of a straight up and down 12/6 type bender, but both shapes were effective offerings. Also mixed in a changeup at 69-70 mph.
11/18/17
On the mound, the southpaw offers plenty of projection in frame. Throws through a 3/4 slot with long, loose arm action. Fastball shows some jump out of hand while sitting between 73-75 mph. Breaking ball displays good left to right movement with gradual break at 65-67 mph. Changeup displays fastball arm speed creating deception while the pitch sits 65-68 mph. Ran a 5.18 from home to first. At the plate he starts in a balanced setup before getting things going through a double tap timing mechanism. Barrel travels on a level plane to the baseball, and strength is apparent in his swing. Ball comes off his bat well and he can produce backspin regularly. Recorded a top exit velocity of 82 mph. Frame fits the first base position. Moves off the bag with controlled footwork and feel. Hands are soft and glove plays as an average to above average tool. Should mature into a solid defender. Threw across the diamond with 66 mph arm strength.

5-foot-11, 160-pound thin build. At the plate he starts with a tall stance and a toe-touch load into a high leg kick for momentum. Swings with an even plane through the zone, finishing with a two handed follow through while registering a top exit velocity of 72 mph. In the infield he moves well around the bag, fielding out front and throwing from a high ¾ slot with 62 mph arm strength across the diamond. On the mound, the lefthander shows a repeatable delivery with good depth in his lower half. Throws from a low-¾ arm slot with the fastball sitting 69-71 mph and the changeup sitting 64-65 mph.
