Austin Ety: C/3B, (2022) Liberty Union, OH. 5-foot-9, 165-pound sturdy frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 89 mph. Starts in a tall balanced stance with a smooth quick load, then uses a leg kick. Bat speed was average, and displayed a level swing plane. Laterally, his movements were average. Behind the plate, his best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 74 mph; shows a clean fluid exchange, soft hands, and smooth consistent feet. He produced a pop time of 2.02-2.10. Above average flexibility and clean setup. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 8.14.


Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in an upright setup. Moves well in the box. Leg kick timing trigger during backload to hands. Everything is smooth throughout sequence. Stays inside the nicely. Very professional BP, spraying it around the yard and not trying to do too much. Power: Line drive pop. Offensive Projection: Table setter. Max BP Exit Velocity: 85 mph Max BP Distance: 264 ft Field: Love it behind the plate. Checks all the boxes. Can really catch and throw/receives at a high level. Scholarship level defender. Throw: Above average tool. Defensive Projection: C.

Hit: Right handed hitter. Starts in a more upright stance with an athletic loading sequence, in which he utilizes a leg kick. Level bat path through the zone with varied ball flight from floor to ceiling. 
Power: 78 mph tee ev. Line Drive Pop
Offensive Projection: Table setter.
Field: Worked out as a C. Posted a 1.93-2.01 pop time. Advanced actions and footwork for his age. As he continues to develop, he will
continue to see increased improvements to times.
Throw: 75 mph from C to 2B. Present arm strength.
Defensive Projection: C


Body Type:  5-foot-8, 155-pound physical frame.

Swing Mechanics:  Simple toe tap load into his lower half while keeping his hands loaded.

Hit:  Slight uphill bat path with a backside approach.

Power:  Flashed pop backside.  More to come as he develops, and adds size.

Offensive Projection:  TBD.
Field: Advanced catch/receive guy behind the dish with a willingness to block. Once arm comes along with maturity he will be the total package back there.
Throw: Accurate thrower with adequate strength and more to come.
Defensive Projection: C.


Body Type: 5-foot-8, 150 pounds. Athlete with room to fill in.

Swing Mechanics: Hits from a wider base in the box producing an ealrier loading process as he gets ready to strike the ball.

Hit: Average contact produced in his rounds showing ability to stay on pitches. Barrel action present later in round.

Power: 78 mph exit velocity.

Offensive Projection: TBD for now.

Run: 8.11 60-yard.
Field: 2.19-2.23 pop time. Received it well both during his defensive round and while catching bullpens. Footwork shows quickness with developing alignment as he works the T. More to come from this younger athlete.

Throw: 73 mph from behind home plate.
Defensive Projection: Catcher.



A right-handed hitter that starts in a taller setup. Small leg lift for timing during back load with hands. Level stroke through the zone with some natural loft to path. Line drive type guy with some gap abilities. Path works to the opposite field gap. Liked what I saw behind the dish. Showed above average catch and throw abilities in workout and solid receiving skills in game.

Catcher Velocity: 72
Exit Velocity: 71


5-foot-6, 133 pound prospect swings it from the right side with a level path that made nice contact throughout his round. Does well staying on pitches and extending through them. Leg usage was nice as well. Recorded a 73 mph exit velocity. Stood out with his catch and throw abilities behind the dish. Arm is a big tool, tossing it with impressive strength and carry. Looks comfortable and well versed back there. Although arm is top tool defensively he also shows above average exchange skills.
