Had a simple upward swing plane, quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 88-89 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2265; Avg 2135). His changeup (83-84) shows fading action. Threw a 1/7 slider (77-80) with slurvey action. (Max spin 2386; Avg 2323). Ran a 4.06 30 yard dash.

Ben Schechterman: LHP/1B, (2023) Aurora, OH. 6-foot, 185-pound. Solid on the mound, used a long arm action and a ¾ arm angle while showing good arm speed. Slow-tempo type pitcher and uses easy effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with a recoil finish. Curveball (73-76 mph), changeup (75-76 mph). Produced a fastball that came in at 81-84 mph.

Ben Schechterman: LHP/1B, (2023) Aurora, OH. 5-foot-11, 185-pound proportional frame. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 90 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a high quick load, then uses a toe tap. Bat speed was average, and had an uphill swing plane. Recorded a time of 7.39 in the 60-yard dash.

Hit: Upright stance with slight knee bend and a simple rocking timing sequence prior to launch. Uphill path through the zone keeping the ball in the air and on a line.
Power: 82 mph exit velocity. Flashed gap abilities
Offensive Projection: Top of lineup
Delivery Notes: Fluid delivery not a lot of added movement. Consistent release point out in front of the body. Fastball topped at 80 but
should add more velocity down the road.
Fastball: Topped at 80 mph, mostly true with occasional cut.
Curveball: Between 69-71 mph, good spin with quality 11/5 action.
Changeup: 70-72 mph, playable third offering.
