Scouting Notes: Much anticipated outing. The 6-foot-5 RHP is now back and healthy once again showing the upside that attracted college coaches. Up to 85mph with the fastball with a sharp slider to complement it. The slider got consistent swing/miss. Also flashed a changeup that looked playable. Fastball: 81-85 mph. Good athlete out there with a fluid delivery and control over his 6-foot-4 frame. Tosses an easy 83-84 mph fastball that projects for even more down the road. Fastball has late life through the zone. Spins a tight, 10/4 shaped breaking ball that has sharp/late action 69-73 mph. High follow in 2021 class that shows signs of a high velo guy down the road.

One of my favorite arms on the day. Very projectable, 6-foot-4 frame with a ton of physical projection left. Arm really works through a high-¾ slot with obvious whip to it. Delivery is very easy and ball comes out well. Presently sits 79-82 mph with much more left in there as he adds strength. Also spins a quality breaking ball. Very high follow in the 2021 class with big upside. Although he is more projectable on the mound he also showed positive attributes as a position guy. Physical bat that launches from a balanced position. Natural tools are above average for class with louder pop than exit velo suggest. Movements have room to clean up but shows traits of a run producer. In the infield he plays fast with direct footwork. Cuts down distance off the bat prior to fielding. Can get to heels at times. Glove looks to be reliable.

At the plate the righty starts in a taller setup prior to his leg kick load. Hands stay relatively simple prior to launch. Stays fluid throughout his loading sequence. Path is level with above average bat speed. A gap to gap guy at this stage that was at his best when he worked the middle of the field. Behind the plate he showed some quickness to his feet during his exchange. Exchange skills are developing. Throws were mostly on target to second base.
