Began in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Had explosive bat speed, upward swing plane and low finish. Laterally, his movements were athletic. Behind the plate, he made strong throws to second and produced an efficient position velocity of 80 mph; showed soft hands, a clean exchange, and fluid feet. Had quick feet and transfers on his throw downs, recording a 1.87-1.91 pop time. Athletic setup with a lot of flexibility. Used a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. 2/17/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Good mover with obvious athleticism on the mound. Delivery has some explosiveness to it and stuff is for real. Fastball: High spin rate guy. Heavy pitch. Impressive velo jump since we saw him last. 84-86 mph. Fastball Spin Rates: 2200-2400. Curveball: 11/5, very sharp, present swing/miss. One of the better ones we saw on the day with a group that could really spin it in general. Curveball Spin Rates: 2300-2500, elite spin. Changeup: Solid offering with good sell to it. Pitchability: Strike thrower.

Hit: Bat gets through the zone well allowing for him to be on plane longer and square pitches up. Power: 87 mph exit velocity. Strong bat for his class and used it well. Stroked it to the middle of the field as well as pull-side. Offensive Projection: Multiple. Field: Behind the plate showed quicker feet getting himself into position to throw. Pop time was 1.92-2.01 seconds. Throw: 76 mph down to second base. Throws has some strength behind them and were on target. Defensive Projection: Catcher. Additional Comments: Likeable actions behind the dish along with a power bat. Will be a good follow over the next few years.

Hands move back at release, creating balance and separation. Ball comes off the bat well, showing above average natural tools in swing. Gap to gap pop. A good athlete behind the dish with above average catch and throw abilities. Feet are quick and does a nice job of creating direction. Arm action is short and ball comes out well. In the infield his actions have athleticism to them, and he reacts well off the bat. Feel are quick and he fields from the middle of his body. Transfer is smooth and he flashed the ability to use multiple arm angles.
