6/6/17 A right-handed pitching prospect in the 2018 class. Has fluidity to his repeatable delivery. Arm is clean and ball comes out of his hand easy. Works through a high-¾ slot with his fastball sitting 83-86 mph. Consistently was in the zone with the pitch and used it to set up his 12/6 breaking ball. The spinner was very sharp at times and he used it as his put away pitch. Had solid feel for the pitch at 64-65 mph.
5/31/17 On the mound the right-hander has a slower pace tempo to his delivery. Stays tall at balance point and lands in line to home plate. Arm works well through a near over the top slot with obvious arm speed. Fastball was anywhere from 83-86 mph with cut a times. Spins a 12/6 breaking ball with some sharpness to it at 62-67 mph. Arm talent is there just needs to be in the zone more consistently.
1/15/17 6-foot-2, 178-pound prospect. 60-yard dash was a 7.51. A projectable arm on the mound. Has fluidity to his delivery that he is able to repeat. Arm action is clean with above average arm speed. Fastball sat 79-82 mph with cut at times. Slider was very sharp when he worked down in the zone. The pitch darts across the plate at 72-73 mph. Also spins a curveball with an 11/5 shape and some sharpness to is. Was able to maintain arm speed on his changeup. Still developing feel for his changeup. Does a nice job in the outfield of getting to the ball in a timely fashion. Plays through the ball very well and maintains momentum into his throws. Showed off 88 mph arm to home plate. At the plate he has very fluid movements to his loading sequence. Tends to stay on his back leg, causing an uphill path. More weight transfer into contact would flatten out his path and let his natural bat speed be more effective. Top exit velocity was 87 mph.
