Began in an athletic stance with a quick load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was efficient, displayed a simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 83 mph; has a natural exchange, soft hands, and consistent feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.27. On the mound, showed some arm speed with a compact arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2029; Avg 1947).
