Loved what I saw from Bryant at the plate. A lefty stick with an aggressive approach and feel for finding the barrel. Hands are quick and swing is compact. Doesn’t get cheated up there and has much more pop than frame would suggest. Jumped on fastballs all day, lacing multiple extra base hits. An exciting young bat to keep an eye on. With the glove he looks to be an ideal fit at second base at the next level. Feet are quick and glove is reliable. Also worth noting he was up to 82 mph on the bump.

5-foot-9, 130 pound prospect with a small, athletic build showed great defensive abilities at shortstop. Bryant has exceptional hands as he looked effortless fielding and did a great job coming through the baseball. His footwork was quick provided by the great effort he exerts for each rep he took. Also showed off a 78 mph velocity across the diamond with throws on a line. Excitable actions and look for him to be playing at a higher level. At the plate he showed off an efficient swing from the left side. Loading sequence is athletic incorporating a back load with hands during his leg kick timing trigger. Path shows some natural loft and he has a knack for finding the barrel. A line drive type presently with much more to come as he adds strength. Talented prospect to follow. On the mound he’s a projectable right handed pitcher with room to grow. Throws from a ¾ arm slot. Delivery is fluent and towards the plate. Fastball comes in with arm side action hard downhill sitting 78-80 mph. Shows confidence in throwing to both sides of the plate. Spins a 11-5 breaking ball with late break 59-63 mph. Changeup falls off the table with similar arm speed at 68-70 mph.

5-foot-9, 130 pound left-handed middle infielder provides an uphill, smooth bat plane that exhibits good, consistent barrel contact. Bryant generates great positive movement in his swing producing good power for his size with an exit velocity of 75 mph. He also gets good extension through the ball resulting in many hard-hit line-drives. Defensively Bryant displayed great glovework and gets himself into good a fielding position with above average footwork attacking the baseball and releasing it quickly. His arm showed plus strength at 78 mph from across the diamond at short. Bryant is a max effort player with pure athleticism and great upside as he develops throughout high school.

Bryant has a smaller, athletic frame. Goes with a quicker tempo to his delivery. Actions are fluid and athletic on the bump. Arm is quick with noticeable whip to it as it travels through a near high-¾ slot. The combination of arm action and slot puts natural run on his 76-77 mph fastball. Go to secondary offering was his 11/5 shaped breaking ball. The pitch has big action with developing depth. Bryant looked comfortable with the offering. Also showed a changeup that had run and dive to it.

In the outfield he showed quickness to his feet while getting to the ball in a timely fashion. Plays with confidence and fields through the ball well. Threw with accuracy to home plate. In the infield he uses direct footwork approaching the baseball. Plays from heels at times and fields the ball in the middle of his body. Glove skills are developing. A contact guy at the plate that has a short, compact path to the baseball. Has solid feel for the barrel, consistently squaring the baseball up in batting practice. Was at his best when he worked to the middle of the field in batting practice.
