Solid capable on the mound, using a short compact arm action he showed consistent developing arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Showed athletic balance point with even in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Has a tight fastball that shows both sides of the plate control and tailing slight running action. (Max spin 1786; Avg 1726). His tight curveball showed slight action and around the zone command. (Max spin 1351; Avg 1351). Throws a heavy changeup that shows slight sinking action and in the zone control.
LHP/OF, (2024) Westerville South, OH. 6-foot-1, 165-pound projectable athletic build. Capable during batting practice, Myers best exit velocity was 77 mph. (64.3 mph bat speed average). (22.7 mph hand speed average). Begins in a closed stance with a handsy load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is developing, uses a level swing plane and low finish. He created some loud contact and found some barrels. Gap to gap approach. Capable from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 68 mph; has developing hands, a quick exchange, and choppy feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Using a short arm action, showed consistent accuracy to the bag from a ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.36. In his delivery his balance point is tall with even shoulders. Lands open with recoil finish. Sat with his fastball at 69-71 mph; showed arm side command and sinking action with flat movement.
