Body Type: 6-foot, 175-pound well built prospect.
Swing Mechanics: Balanced stance with a leg kick for timing during backload to hands.

Hit: Continues to look the part of one of the most quality D2 gets in his class. Hit tool was once again impressive amongst the states’ best, driving the ball with authority to both gaps. Swing works well and he can manipulate the barrel to create quality contact and easy backspin.

Power: 89 mph exit velocity.

Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles.

Run: 6.91 60-yard dash.
Field: Average to above average skill set across the board. Not going to overwhelm you with flash but if he gets his hands on it, it’s usually an out.

Throw: 84 mph arm strength across the infield.

Defensive Projection: Multiple spots in the infield.

A righty swinger that starts in an athletic setup. Movements are smooth and well timed prior to launch. Impressive combination of tools and feel for the barrel. Drove the ball to both gaps in BP, showing some of the louder pop we saw on the day. Very impressive round. Middle infielder with an impressive skill across the board. Looks the part out there. Skill set could play at all three skill positions.

Silva’s stock continues to rise this summer. Came into the summer season a fringe prospect but is starting to move the needle more towards being a legitimate D1 option. Not a blazer with straight line speed but lateral mobility and quickness up the middle of the infield more resembles a 6.7 guy than a 7.0 flat guy. Bat continues to come along, showing added thump from last season. In general Silva is a really solid ball player who scouts are going to like the more they see him.

Silva keeps getting better each time we see him and starting to look more and more like a D1 prospect. A very good athlete with burst at the plate and impressive range defensively. The glove has always been there, displaying a skill set that will almost certainly allow him to stay up the middle at the next level. Bat continues to come along, showing more pop each team we’ve seen him.

A sure-handed infielder that plays faster than 60-time would indicate, showing impressive range to both sides. Displayed the tools to stay up the middle with enough arm/athleticism to move to the outfield if need be.  At the plate he has a table setter look to him. Works through a middle-away approach and can generate regular backspin. Quicker than he is strong with the bat at this stage.

A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Loading sequence is rhythmic and puts him in a strong attack position. Path is level with solid strength through contact. Bat speed is an above average tool. Middle of the lineup type guy who showed present gap to gap pop. Looks the part in the infield. Mechanically sound with fluid footwork. Glove skills are well above average for his age. Actions remain on the move, showing above average lateral mobility. Has the ability to throw from multiple arm angles. In the outfield his mechanically sound with athletic actions. Plays with confidence with well above average ball skills. Maintains momentum into his throws, showing above average arm strength. Throws were on target with carry.
