Started in a tall balanced stance with a compact smooth load, then used a short stride. Had above average bat speed, uphill short swing plane and balanced finish. Found lots of barrels through his rounds. Gap to gap approach. His best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 86 mph. Behind the plate, he recorded a position velocity of 75 mph during throw downs. While catching, throw downs to second were maxed at 75 mph; displayed his ability to control the run game with a pop time of 1.91-1.97. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.28.
Athletic presence in the box from the right side. Goes with a bat tip during leg kick pattern down low. Balanced launch w/well above average natural tools through the zone. Most consistent flight came to middle of the field w/gap abilities. True utility type defensively who you can throw all over the yard considering ball skills, feel for the game, and arm that shows plus potential.
