12/2/18
At the plate Martin uses a toe tap load before he strides forward to create separation in the swing. He maintains good balance throughout his entire swing. He showed good barrel control and strong hands along with above average bat to ball ability. Liked what I saw behind the dish. Good athlete that has feel for the spot. Actions are fluid and he is mechanically sound throughout. Handled himself well in bullpens as well.

9/30/17
A catching prospect in the 2019 class. Starts in a mid crouch behind the dish. Footwork is mechanically sound, creating direction as he gains ground to second base. Arm is loose with whip to it. Arm action fits the position. Registered pop times between 2.28-2.35, showing 65 mph arm strength to second base. A right-handed bat that starts in an athletic setup. Lower half is fluid as he moves smoothly through his leg kick load into his stride. Hands stay relatively simple prior to launch. Strength and bat speed both show in his level swing. Ball comes off bat well showing consistent line drive abilities. Top exit velocity was 81 mph off the tee.

2/19/17
5-foot-9, 170-pound prospect. Projects as a third base type. Starts in a ready, athletic stance. Does a good job approaching the baseball, but has a tendency to get flat when receives it. Will be aided by keeping his feet moving and maintaining momentum towards first base. Does a good job with the ball hit to the glove side. Short arm action with top velocity of 70 mph across the infield. Starts in a tall, open setup at the plate with his barrel vertical. Gets things started with a leg kick prior to his forward move. Stays rhythmic throughout loading sequence. Bat speed is above average and flashed gap to gap pop during batting practice.

60 Yard Dash: 8.54
Position Velocity: 70
Exit Velocity: 80
