6-foot-0 and 175-pound athletic right-handed pitching prospect. Hamilton works at a very high tempo through a belt high leg lift and good direction down the slope. Uses a short arm action working out of a high-3/4 slot. Fastball sat 80-83 on this occasion showing consistent cutting action. Shows good feel for a sharp breaking ball at 67-68 MPH on a 11/5 tilt. Also offered changeup, looks to still be developing feel for the pitch, but it’s thrown with good arm speed and shows late cut at 74-76 MPH. Two-way prospect. Actions are athletic and fluid in the box. Load is efficient and he syncs movements well to create easy timing and balance. Shows above average strength through the zone with some twitch to his hands. More of a line drive type now but will turn on the ball with authority when the opportunity presents itself. Athleticism really shows in the outfield and he has obvious confidence in his abilities. Plays with feel and looks comfortable out there. Arm is a big time tool. Could see him at all three spots at the next level depending on team need.

6-foot-, 175 pound right-handed pitcher showed good ability to use his lower half and attack the ball at as a hitter. Hamilton has a smooth swing that creates great separation which leads to some force in his swing with an 85 mph exit velocity. Some of his wings looked hindered by his back elbow being too stiff and when it was relaxed, he was driving pitches to both gaps. He also showed some good speed down the line with a 4.19 time. Hamilton’s talent offensively may allow him to see some at-bats at the college level when he is not pitching.

Ran a 7.26 60-yard dash. A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Initiates loading sequence through a double tap with lower half. Hands stays quiet prior to launch. Path is level and barrel has noticeable whip through the zone. Swing is efficient in general with present barrel awareness. Strength and bat speed are both above average tools. A talented bat to follow. Registered a top exit velocity of 84 mph. A very good athlete who looks the part in the outfield. Actions are fluid and he plays through the baseball with ease. Arm looked to be one of the top tools in attendance at 88 mph to home plate.
6/6/17 A two-way prospect that projects more on the mound at this stage. Delivery is clean and easy. Arm action is relatively clean while working through a high-¾ slot. A strike thrower that worked both sides of the plate with his 79-83 mph fastball (we have seen him sit 84-86 mph on other occasions). His go to secondary offering was his 11/5 shaped breaking ball. Showed confidence in the pitch that came in the zone at 68-71 mph. A right-handed hitter that starts in a wider setup. Mechanics are simple, taking his hands to launch during his short stride. Swing is compact and barrel works on a slightly downhill plane. Strong kid with some twitch to him. A line drive guy that flashed the ability to drive the gap. From the outfield his arm strength stands out as top tool. Plays with athleticism and feel for the position. Plays through the baseball well.
5-foot-11, 165-pound prospect. The right-hander has obvious quickness in his arm. Showed the ability to throw all of his pitches for strikes. His fastball topped out at 85 mph and sat 82-84 mph with late cut. His curveball may be his best pitch, hard 11/5 action thrown at 70-71 mph. Maintains fastball arm speed and run with his changeup. At the plate he starts balanced and takes his hands back during his stride. Showed a very fluid loading sequence. Foot gets down early and he takes a short compact path to the baseball. Line drive type hitter that worked well to the middle of the field. From the outfield, he shows confidence as he approaches the ball. Consistently plays through it and maintains momentum. Transfer is fluid and efficient. Throws from high ¾ to over the top slot.
