Jack Hurst: OF/OF, (2024) Archbold, OH. 5-foot-9, 150-pound athletic frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 83 mph. Begins in an open athletic stance with a smooth quick load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is average and uses a level upward swing plane. Athletic from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 78 mph; shows a clean exchange, soft hands, and quick athletic feet. Fields the ball one hand, movements laterally were athletic. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.15.
Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Uses a short stride for timing during back load with hands.
Hit: Level path with some lag through the zone. Natural tools are developing. Showed feel for contact, working the middle of the field in BP. Much more juice to come as physical maturation takes its course.
Power: Line drive pop.

Field: In the outfield he plays with aggressive feet too and through. Maintains a consistent tempo throughout sequence. Ball skills are developing. Also worked out in the infield. Quick feet with aggressive actions. Cuts down distance off the bat and gets rid of the ball quickly. Looks sure-handed.
Throw: High-¾ right-hander with developing arm strength.
Body Type: 5-foot-4, 115-pounds with average athletic build with room to fill
Hit: He starts with a little to no load with his hands and has a stride for timing. Has some athletic movement in the beginning of swing with his hands. Hands tend to drift away from body
Power: Line drive capabilities with little pop

Field: From OF, he approaches the ball quickly, stays behind it, and plays through the ball. He has some carry-on his throws with a short armed ¾ slot. Average footwork with some softness in his hands
