8/5/18 6-foot-3, 165-pound. Right-handed pitcher with projectable frame. Delivery has rhythm working through a chest high lift if we’re rolling into a hip load. Uses a long arm action working out of the three-quarter slot regular effort. Fastball was mostly straight with occasional cut to the glove side while sitting 79 to 81 mph. Also offered a 10 to 4 slider the tunneled well with the fastball 70 to 73 mph. Change up his throne with good arm speed, at 68 to 71 mph the pitch has fading action.
6/6/18 6-foot-2, 165-pound. Lanky right-handed pitching prospect. Delivery is compact and efficient working at a quick tempo. Uses a long arm action through a ¾ slot. Attacked the zone with all of this pitches. Fastball comes out of the hand easily with some life at 79-82 MPH. Shows good feel for the breaking ball, the pitch has 11/5 shape with developing depth at 66-69 MPH. Best secondary offering may have been the changeup. The pitch has regular sink and swing and miss potential at 69-72 MPH.
2/18/18
Tall and athletic right handed pitching prospect. On the mound he threw primarily from the stretch. Releases from a ¾ slot coming out of the hand naturally. Lower half shows heavy push off the back leg with a high leg kick. Directionally stays towards the plate throughout his delivery. Fastball has natural arm side movement sitting 82-83 mph. Ball path stays downhill through the glove. Breaking ball comes in on a 11-5 tilt with sharp bite at 65-69 mph. Also has a changeup in his repertoire coming in at 69-72 mph. Pitch shows slight cut action and similar arm speed. Scholarship type arm.
6/6/17 At the plate he starts in balanced setup. Uses a leg kick to get things started while moving hands back to launch. Swing is compact with some definite bat speed in there. A line drive guy that showed the ability to consistently find the barrel. In the infield he has a well-rounded skills set. Glove skills stand out amongst the rest. Actions are fluid and athletic. Arm strength will need to continue to improve but quick transfer makes up for it presently. 60-yard dash: 7.44 Infield Velocity: 76 Exit Velocity: 84
2/19/17 6-foot-1, 150-pound prospect. Active feet in the infield. Does a good job creating angles and keeping momentum towards his target. Transfer clean, but can get quicker by shortening up his steps. Throws through a ¾ slot with top velocity of 76 mph. Natural tools are louder than 75 mph exit velocity would indicate at the plate. Has room to grow mechanically but has the strength and bat speed to hit at the next level. Path is flat and he worked very well to the opposite field.
60 Yard Dash: 7.4 Position Velocity: 76 Exit Velocity: 75
7/26/16 A rangy middle infielder with a very projectable frame at 6-foot-1, 150-pounds. Advanced abilities for his age defensively.. All the actions are there with advanced glove skills. Does a nice job of cutting down time and distance with his footwork. Arm strength isn’t elite at 71 mph across the infield but makes up for it with his quick transfer. At the plate he has a wider setup and keep his hands simple during his stride. Has a nice, flat path to the ball with some batspeed. More in the tank than his 74 mph exit velocity would indicate.
