Jon Wylie: SS/RHP, (2024) Ironton, OH. 6-foot-2, 175-pound. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 90 mph. (68.8 mph bat speed average). (22.4 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, showed a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid in the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 88 mph; showed sure hands, a natural exchange, and consistent feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showing quick arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle and a clean arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 87-89 mph. Had slight running action.Shows some sweeping action on his 11/5 curveball (65-67).His changeup (74-78) has slight fading action. Had tight late action on his 10/4 slider (72-75). Ran a 4.23 30 yard dash.
