Leo Soneson: 3B/C, (2025) Lakewood, OH. 6-foot, 180-pound physical frame. (64.9 mph bat speed average). (16.7 mph hand speed average). Began in a crouched stance with a smooth handsy load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was explosive, displayed an upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Had tons of loud contact and found lots of barrels. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Confident above average while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 78 mph; shows consistent next level hands, quick athletic feet, and a fluid natural exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Showed uninterrupted slot and a short quick arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Advanced on the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle and a consistent short arm action with good arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Tall balance point with even in line shoulders. Lands square with recoil finish. Curveball (69-71 mph), changeup (74-75 mph), slider (72-73 mph). Produced a fastball that came in at 81-82 mph. (Max spin 2091; Avg 1980).

Leo Soneson: 3B/C, (2025) Lakewood, OH. 6-foot, 180-pound athletic build. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth tight load, then used a controlled leg kick. Bat speed was explosive, displayed a simple uphill swing plane and balanced finish. He found lots of barrels with tons of loud contact. Aggressive approach. Athletic while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 75 mph; has consistent in control feet, consistent soft hands, and a quick clean exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Using a short arm action, showed consistent accuracy to the bag from a high ¾ slot. Advanced projectable on the mound, showed quick consistent arm speed, he had a short clean arm action with an over-the-top ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses some effort. Displays downhill shoulders and an athletic balance point. Lands open with an athletic clean finish.  (Max spin 2082; Avg 1939).

Leo Soneson: 3B/C, (2025) Lakewood, OH. 5-foot-9, 150-pound. At the plate, Soneson's best exit velocity was 79 mph. (61.6 mph bat speed average). (18.7 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was efficient, displayed a simple short swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 67 mph; shows sure hands, consistent feet, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a high slot with a quick arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 8.03.
