5/31/17
Showed a fluid swing from the right side. Uses a leg kick to get things started while taking hands to launch. Path is downhill with above average bat speed. Uses the opposite field well. A more level path would allow him to use the whole field more consistently. On the mound he has a fluid tempo to his low effort delivery. Arm action is long and clean. Stays tall at balance point and creates solid direction with his lower half. Works through a high-¾ slot with his fastball sitting 72-76 mph. Spins an 11/5 shaped breaking ball with gradual break at 61-64 mph. The pitch was much sharper when he stayed on top of it. Also flashed a changeup, maintaining fastball arm speed at 68-70 mph. Still developing feel for the pitch. Showed the ability to field his position in game play.
