Mason Keaton: OF/RHP, (2024) Jonathan Alder, OH. 5-foot-10, 160-pound athletic projectable build. (66.9 mph bat speed average). (19.9 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a controlled leg kick. Has a short uphill swing plane, quick explosive bat speed and good extension on his finish. He found lots of barrels with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Advanced in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 82 mph; had a quick exchange, sure consistent hands, and consistent in control footwork. Fielded the ball to the side with athletic movement laterally. Used a short very quick arm action and athletic slot while showing consistent accuracy to the base. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.11. Capable solid on the mound, had a loose clean arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with quick consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows decent effort. Showed strong consistent balance point with even in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic recoil finish. (Max spin 2207; Avg 2138).

Solid on the mound, showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with consistent arm speed Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Downhill shoulders with a athletic balance point. Lands soft with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 75-76 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1898; Avg 1822). Shows some action on his 11/5 curveball (64-65). (Max spin 2101; Avg 2064). He has slight action on his changeup (67-68).
