Michael Banks: 3B/1B, (2027) Barberton, OH. 5-foot-9, 189-pound sturdy build. (56.8 mph bat speed average). (16.6 mph hand speed average). Began in a quiet open stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Had above average bat speed, upward swing plane and high finish. He created some loud contact and found lots of barrels. Aggressive approach. Capable in the infield, displayed a velocity of 69 mph; showed firm hands, a natural exchange, and consistent feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Showed decent accuracy to the bag with a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. Solid capable on the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle and a clean arm action with good arm speed. Stretch only type pitcher who uses decent effort. He has in line shoulders and an athletic balance point. Lands closed with recoil finish. (Max spin 2022; Avg 1945).
