6/5/18
6-foot, 162-pound. Thin framed left-handed pitching prospect. Works at a quick tempo with an efficient compact delivery. Uses a long arm action through a low-¾ slot working across the body. Fastball shows consistent cutting action at 75-79 MPH. Changeup is thrown with near fastball arm speed between 66-70 MPH. Also offered a 1/7 breaking ball that has slurvy action at 60-62 MPH.

2/18/18

6-foot, 162-pound prospect with athletic frame. Starts on the right side of the rubber. Uses small rocker step to outside of his body before centering himself. Transitions into easy leg left with efficient use of his lower half. Fastball has late arm side run. Comes out easy, mostly sitting 80 mph. Won’t be surprised to see him 82-84 in the summer with more to come. Slider is effective out pitch. Throws it hard and with intent at 73-74. Curveball is softer. Tends to slow down arm action, but locates well for strikes. Also mixes in a 68-69 mph changeup with similar movement to his fastball. In the outfield he showed average footwork and gets himself into position to attack the ball well. Displayed a solid glove while fielding each attempt cleanly. Arm strength and accuracy  was shown with an 83 mph velocity to home plate. A lefty swinger that starts in a balanced setup. Loading sequence is fluid, incorporating a back load with hands during his knee pinch movement. Swing is level with some natural loft in there. A line drive type guy with pull side tendencies and flashes of gap abilities.
60-yard dash: 7.6
Outfield Velocity: 83
Exit Velocity: 86

1/16/17
An arm to keep an eye on in the 2019 class. Has the frame to fill out and is mechanically efficient. Fastball was 74-77 mph but there is much more left in their. Arm works well and there is little effort to his delivery. Showed the ability to throw three offspeed pitches for strikes. His changeup has some fade to it and is tough to differentiate it from his fastball out of the hand. His breaking ball has a 1/7 shape to it with good depth at 60-62 mph. The sharper of the two breakers was his 65-68 mph slider that darted across the plate late in the zone. Showed off smooth, athletic actions in the outfield. Mechanically sound and plays with confidence. Put his throws right on target to home plate. A lefty swinger that starts tall and takes his hands back during his short stride forward. Maintains rhythm throughout loading sequence. Bat path is level and he found the barrel consistently. Any added strength should translate to added juice as swing is efficient.

60-yard dash: 7.49
Exit Velocity: 74
Outfield Velocity: 83

7/6/16
6-foot, 150-pound thin, projectable body frame. Left-handed hitter starts from a balanced stance, using a fluid load with his hands moving to his back shoulder. Swings with a level bat path through the zone, finishing with a two-handed follow through. He showed the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice. Reached a top exit velocity of 74 mph and ran a 7.52 60-yard dash. In the infield he moves well around the bag. Fields the ball out in front of his body. Throws from a high ¾ slot with 69 mph. On the mound he uses a high leg kick, using regular effort to his delivery. Lands in a straight line at foot strike finishing with his momentum carrying toward home plate. Throws using average arm speed through a ¾ slot. His fastball was between 76-77 mph and was able to maintain his velocity from the stretch. Curveball has good depth with gradual break at a 1/7 plane between 57-60 mph. Slider has tighter shape to it than his curveball thrown between 63-64 mph. Threw his changeup using fastball arm speed at 63-64 mph.

8/31/15
5-foot-11, 145-pound athletic frame. Left-handed hitter with a quiet approach and balance stance. Needs more of a load with a good flat swing that stays thru the hitting zone. Registered top exit velocity of 72 mph and ran 4.69 home to first. In the outfield he run thru the ball with a good crow hop. Throw from a high-3/4 slot with 70 mph arm strength from right field. Over at first base he shows good range coming off the bag. Fields the ball out in front with 68 mph arm strength across the diamond. On the mound he has a slow tempo delivery with a simple lift and is on line at foot strike. Arm works from a high-3/4 slot with fastball sitting 68-71 mph. Has feel of a his breaking ball at 65-66 mph with 1/7 tilt. Showcased a change up with some arm side run at 60-62 mph.
