Nathan Hall: SS/2B, (2023) Lancaster, OH. 5-foot-10, 175-pound. At the plate, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 84 mph. Started in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, displayed a short simple swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 77 mph; shows a natural exchange, sure hands, and consistent feet. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot.
Strong, physical body frame. Right-handed hitter has present strength at the plate. Starts from a balanced, slightly open stance getting back to even at foot strike. Has a fluid load with his hands moving to his back shoulder, swinging with a mostly level bat path through the zone and finishes with a one-handed follow through. Showed the ability to hit the ball to all parts of the field with authority reaching an exit velocity of 87 mph. At first base he has fluid, athletic footwork moving around the bag while covering good ground laterally moving off the bag. Throws with a clean arm action through a ¾ slot with a velocity of 79 mph. Ran a 7.43 60-yard dash.
