Campbell is one of the most athletic prospects in the 2015 class. Worked out in the middle infield but his speed has a chance to play in the outfield as well. Short arm action through 3/4 arm slot. Some quickness to his feet and exchange. Top velocity of 79 mph across the diamond. At the plate, he starts from an athletic crouch. Some extra movement to his swing. Heavy load to the back side. Uses a short stride with line drive production. Top exit velocity of 87 mph. Strong showing during game play with two singles and a double to right field. Ran an impressive 6.50 60.

This was our first time seeing Campbell, and he impressed. In a year without an abundance of middle infield prospects in Ohio, he should find his services in high demand. His foot speed is obvious given his 6.66 60. But, it transfers over to the field as he displays good range and natural actions from the short stop position. The biggest knock on his defensive skill set would be his arm action, but even with that he shows good carry and a top velocity of 80 mph with long arm action through a high 3/4 arm slot. His skill set could also give him the versatility to play the out field as well. At the plate, the right-handed hitter starts in an athletic stance. He shows good balance and creates momentum through the baseball with his lower half. His hands work well through the zone on a slight uphill path. He consistently drove the ball up the middle with solid contact. His top exit velocity registered at 84 mph.
