2/16/20 Position Player Hit: Balanced setup from the left side. Barrel travels to a vertical launch position during double tap timing trigger. All fields approach with the ability to generate backspin. Ball flight varied from ground to ceiling and natural tools appear to be above average for class. Power: Top batting practice exit velocity was 83.8 and he reached a top batting practice distance of 274 feet. Offensive Projection: Middle ceiling. Field: Plays low throughout sequence in the infield, quiet actions, ball skills are on par for class. Looks like a more natural infielder but athleticism and arm make him a viable option in the outfield as well. Solid, versatile defender. Throw: Tossed it across the diamond with 71 mph arm strength and 79 mph strength from the outfield. Defensive Projection: UTL.
2/16/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Easy tempo on the mound to delivery that requires some effort. Delivery definitely has some burst to it. Drop and drive type loading sequence down the hill. Arm is compact and travels through a high-¾ slot. Fastball: 76-78 mph, mostly true, ball jumps out of hand. Breaking Ball: 64-68 mph, pop out of the hand with big action, 11/5 shape, signs of sharpness. Changeup: 61-63 mph, loses a bit of arm speed, regular fading action.
