Vitaly DiBlasi: RHP/OF, (2023) Olentangy Braves, OH. 5-foot-11, 180-pound. In the box, Diblasi recorded an exit velocity of 94 mph. (64.4 mph bat speed average). (19.8 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic active stance with a compact load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is quick, displays a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid in the outfield, he showed a plus arm and had life on his throws with a position velocity of 88 mph;had a natural exchange, consistent footwork, and sure hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. On the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used a consistent arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 82-83 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1816; Avg 1740). His 11/5 curveball (67-70) had slurvey action. (Max spin 1981; Avg 1947). His splitter (74-75) has deceiving action. Ran a 4.26 30 yard dash.

Vitaly DiBlasi: 3B/RHP, (2023) Olentangy Braves, OH. 5-foot-11, 180-pound. Athletic during batting practice, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 87 mph. Started in an athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed is quick, and has high finish. He found multiple barrels through his round. Line drive approach. Solid in the infield, his best throw was registered at 79 mph; had firm hands, athletic footwork, and a fluid natural exchange. Solid on the mound, has good arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher and uses some effort. a recoil finish. Curveball (67-70 mph), changeup (71-74 mph), splitter (76-77 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 81-82 mph. 

Hit: Easy actions in the box from the right side. Stays fluid throughout sequence, generating low effort juice. Worked inside the ball creating gap to gap flight and regular backspin.
Power: Developing burst, flashed gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: TBD.
Max Exit BP Exit Velocity: 88 mph.
Max BP Distance: 318 ft.
Field: Controlled tempo in the infield. Quiet feet with ball skills on par for class.
Throw: Arm projects to be an above average tool for class.
Defensive Projection: 3B/2B.

Scouting Notes: High follow in 2023 class. Good rhythm on the mound with efficient movement patterns. three-pitch righty with quality stuff. Up to 81 mph with signs of more to come. Breaking ball was sharp and changeup was more than playable.
Fastball: 80-81 mph.

2/17/20 Position Player
Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in an upright setup. Uses a back load to hands during his bat tip up top. Aggressive swinger who's swing travels on a downhill path to contact. Natural tools are comparable.
Power: Line drive pop.
Offensive Projection:Table Setter.
Field:In the infield he plays with good tempo throughout sequence. Ball skills are on par for class.
Throw:Clean arm with more strength to come.
Defensive Projection:2B.

2/17/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: Promising right-handed in the 2023 class. Long limbed with much more physical projection left. Arm works and ball comes out easily. Shows signs of more to come. Good athlete, basketball/baseball guy.
Fastball: Late life to both sides of the plate. Should add easy mphs as he matures. Presently 79-81 mph.
Fastball Spin Rates: 1700-1900.
Curveball: 11/5 shaped offering with later action. Above average pitch for class. 69-72 mph.
Curveball Spin Rates:1600-1800.
Changeup: Solid offering. Quality fade with a fastball look out of the hand.
Pitchability: Strike thrower for the most part.

Body Type: 5-foot-8, 150-pounds with strong athletic build

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: On the mound, the RHP has good tempo and is explosive out of his slow and controlled delivery. Throws from a normal loose ¾ slot and favors the arm side of the plate. Tends to fall off to first base side but stays true most of the time

Fastball: FB is lively and has a lot of late life (73-76)

Curveball: CB has slowed big 11/5 break, sweeper (61-64)

Changeup: CH has downward depth and hard drop towards RHH (68)

Pitchability: Has a good 3 pitch mix for his age, everything moves

Role: Starter/Late reliever

Additional Comments: Has good mechanics and command of his pitches, expect velocity to jump over the next couple of years

Hit: He has a quiet load with a simple hand to shoulders separation in load. Has a small leg kick and gets natural loft on ball. Hands stay strong through the zone and has good weight transitions. Will be an interesting follow in the ‘23 class.

Power: Shows plus pop with line drive abilities

Offensive Projections: Middle of order (82 exit velocity)

Run: 7.79 (60-yard dash)

Field: From the IF, he stays low and through the baseball showing good footwork. Plays on the balls of his feet and has athleticism at 3B. Has a loose clean arm with good transfers. From OF, he displays developing footwork and glove work. Fielded balls close to body.
