Started in a balanced quiet stance with a quick load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was developing, had a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 70 mph; had choppy footwork, firm hands, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 8.26. On the mound, showing some arm speed he used a quick arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1986; Avg 1914). Throws a 11/5 curveball with gradual action. (Max spin 1904; Avg 1846).
