2/04/18

Swings it from the right-side starting in an open setup. Goes with a slight back load with hands during his leg kick timing trigger. A back leg hitter that takes an uphill path to the baseball. Can get around the ball at times. Generated natural ball flight when he stayed inside the baseball. Quicker than he is strong with the bat at this stage. A middle infielder with mechanically sound footwork. Does a nice job of creating angles and timing footwork to play through the baseball efficiently, without sacrificing rhythm. Ball skills are above average for class. Can let the ball get too deep at times. Maintains actions and ball skills on the move. Projects to be an above average defender.

60-yard dash: 7.33
Infield Velocity: 79
Exit Velocity: 81

6/28/17

A right-handed hitter that starts in balanced setup. Starts movements early, creating consistent timing. Lower half is efficient and barrel gets vertical prior to launch. Bat has some whip to it, working on a level to uphill path. Has some twitch through the zone. Line drive type guy that used all fields.  In the infield he moves with quick, athletic footwork. Looks confident in his glove. Does a nice job of gaining ground prior to throwing. Has enough arm to play the left side at this stage.

60-yard Dash: 7.56
Infield Velocity: 71
Exit Velocity: 80

3/19/17

On the mound, the right handed pitcher displays clean mechanics with good lower half drive. Uses a smooth delivery while throwing through a ¾ arm slot with looseness in arm action. Fastball sits between 70-72 mph and reached up to 74 mph. Breaking ball displays some sharpness to break on an 11/5 plane; sits 57-59 mph. Also mixes in a 57-61 mph changeup. At the plate he starts tall prior to his leg kick load and controlled stride. Hands move to launch as the barrel gets vertical. Bat has some quickness to it, with definite barrel whip through the zone. Path is slightly uphill. Ball came off his bat well when he found the barrel. Was at his best when he used the opposite field. A solid infielder that was impressive in his defensive workout. Footwork is very quick and glove skills are well above average. Arm strength will dictate if he plays shortstop or second base moving forward.

60-yard dash: 7.41
Infield Velocity: 71
Exit Velocity: 82
