From the catcher’s position he shows good footwork and a quick transfer on his throws to second, he reached pop times between 1.94-2.07, while throwing with 77 mph velocity. Offensively, he hits from a wider stance, slight hands back trigger, uses an inward turn with front foot and does not stride, uses both fields well. Reached a top exit velocity of 87 mph and ran a 4.50 down the line to first base out of the box. Squared up two balls in game at bats when he singled up the middle and to right-field.

Uses a smooth, simple load. Hands drop a bit into hitting slot. Shows some quickness in his hands (82 mph exit velocity off the tee). Takes short, level path to the ball. Line drive production out of the swing. Ran a 4.37 out of the box.
