2/03/19

A  6-foot-3, 195-pound frame with broad shoulders and room to add more size. On the mound, the right-hander works from a slightly up tempo and simple delivery with a high leg kick and a long stride down the mound. Arm action is long, loose, and fluid behind him before coming through a low-¾ slot with elite arm speed. Fastball ranges 89-93 mph with consistent and heavy arm-side run. Knuckle curve shows occasional 10/4 shape at 76-77 mph, some strikes. Changeup has some fade at 78-79  mph, some strikes. Slider is still developing with cutter type action 81-83 mph.

6/6/18
A 6-foot-3, 180-pound lean, long and projectable frame. On the mound, the right-hander works from a smooth and slightly up-tempo delivery with rhythm and a high leg kick. Arm action is long, loose, and fluid in the back before coming through a ¾ slot with whip and arm speed. Fastball shows heavy and late run at 87-90 mph. Changeup shows some fade at 80-81 mph. Slider is still developing at 72-73 mph. In the game, it took a few batters for Beck to get his feel, but once he did, he was electric in the zone punching out the last three batters he faced.
