Positional Profile: SS/OF/RHP

Body: 5-foot-11, 175-pounds.  Athletic and proportional build with present strength and room for more in the future.

Hit: RHH.  Athletic stance with hands settling close to the head and body.  Short stroke with the hands working directly to the ball.  Line drive approach with level bat path.  Matches plane with the pitch exceptionally well.  Limited lower half drive in the swing.  Maintains balance well throughout the swing.

Defense: In the outfield attacks the ball with longer strides and aggressive routes.  Fields the ball outside the glove side leg with a feel for glove action.  Registered 85 mph from the outfield with a shuffle crow hop technique.  In the infield attacks the ball with active feet and a feel for routes working around the ball.  Fields with soft hands and clean exchanges out of the glove.  Registered 84 mph from across the diamond. 

Run: 7.00 runner in the 60.

Delivery: Short and methodical footwork around the rubber working to a clean pivot foot.  Works to a mid-high balance point with smooth rhythm and up-tempo pace.  Slight coil with the front hip and shoulder at the top of the delivery.  Strong weight stack on the back leg with solid push off the rubber.  Works momentum well towards the plate.

Arm: Action: High ¾ arm slot with a clean arm action.

Pitch Profiles: Fastball worked 81-86 mph with strong riding life through the zone and showing some arm side running action at times.

Displays an athletic, younger 5-foot-10, 166-pound build with room to fill out. The right-handed hitter starts in a balanced, open stance with his bat resting on his shoulder. He uses a toe-tap and hand load before making a short stride to contact. Slightly downhill to flat bat path generating line-drives to the middle of the field. Recorded an 77 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.26 60-yard dash. In the infield, has sure hands and glove with short, quick footwork. Accurate 72 mph throws to 1B from short high ¾ angle.

On the mound, the right-handed pitcher has a fluid tempo with a repeatable delivery. Reaches a consistent tall balance point before landing square, throwing from a long high-¾ arm action. Fastball thrown for strikes at 74-76 mph with straight action. Slider has 10/4 break with good spin, 66-67 mph. Changeup thrown 67-68 mph with fade and sink action, thrown with good arm speed.

Cade Cometti: RHP/SS, (2024) Coalgate, OK. 5-foot-10, 166-pound athletic frame. At the plate, Cometti recorded an exit velocity of 84 mph. Began in a tall stance with a quick small load, then used a toe tap to initiate his swing. Bat speed is quick, exhibits simple flat swing plane and level finish. He barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Smooth while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 71 mph; shows developing feet, soft sure hands and a quick clean exchange. Used a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.32. Athletic on the mound, showing good arm speed he had an over-the-top arm angle and a long arm action. Slow-tempo type pitcher who uses easy effort. Showed even shoulders. Lands square with an upright finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 71-74 mph; showed running action and around the zone control.
