Hit: LHH. Slow loads the weight into the lower half. Strong rotational swing and hits with strong leverage. Maintains balance and athleticism well throughout the swing. Shows some power to the pull side. Smooth rhythm with high leg kick and strong weight stack into the lower half.
Defense: In the outfield attacks the ball with aggressive routes and fields the ball out in front of the glove side leg. Shows good glove action and registered 90 mph from the OF. In the infield attacks the ball with shorter strides and feel for routes. Shows good glove action and soft hands. Shows proper footwork around the bag. Registered 89 mph from across the diamond.
Run: 6.75 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Short and simple footwork around the rubber working to an easy pivot foot. Controlled rhythm and pace to the delivery working to a mid height balance point. Lower half works linearly through the zone into a firm front leg. Linear path with the hands and works hard to the inside part of the ball. Utilizes the middle of the field well. Has quick hands through the zone and very good bat speed. Maintains balance well throughout the swing. Power: 88.86 max exit velocity, averaged 74.27 mph. 326’ max distance. Strength in the lower half with good power potential. Arm: LH. INF - 88 mph. OF - 88 mph. Over the top arm slot with a clean and loose arm action. Defense: In the outfield attacks the ball with smooth footwork and controlled rhythm. Fields the ball on the inside of the glove side leg with some glove action and soft hands. Shuffle crow hop technique with good momentum headed towards the target. In the infield fields the ball slightly deep into the body with soft hands and developing glove action. Begins in a tall stance with a small arm bar load, then uses a big leg kick just before his swing. Bat speed was quick, had upward swing plane and a back foot finish. Found multiple barrels through his round. Pull side approach. While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 78 mph; had firm hands, developing footwork and a lengthy developing exchange. Showed a long arm action with a ¾ slot. Clocked a 60 time of 7.57 at the event. On the mound, produced a fastball that came in at 75-77 mph. Curveball (69-70 mph), changeup (64-66 mph).
