Grady James: SS/2B, (2021) Rejoice Christian, OK. 5-foot-8, 160-pound slim frame. At the plate, James recorded an exit velocity of 83 mph. Began in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed is above average, displays flat swing plane and level finish. Found some barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Raw while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 82 mph; has sure hands, a lengthy exchange and quick feet. Showed a long arm action and a high ¾ slot. Clocked a 60 time of 7.12 at the event.

Demonstrated advanced feel for a lean 5-foot-8, 160-pound frame with present athleticism and room to add strength. The right-handed hitter begins with an open, wide stance utilizing a knee-knock stride to initiate a flat barrel path into the hitting zone. Releases the barrel well through contact point in an easy, athletic swing generating advanced extension through the ball. Flexible lower half created barrel whip allowing for hard contact towards the middle of the field off the tee. Registered an 85 mph bat-exit velocity and recorded a 7.19 60-yard dash. The primary middle infielder showed advanced footwork by taking advantageous routes yielding downhill momentum towards his target. Soft hands in front played through the ball and fluid transfers allowed for accurate 81 mph arm-strength from his position. 

A proportional and athletic 5-foot-8, 150-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an open, athletic, and slightly back leg heavy set up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate and controlled leg kick and arm bar load before launching his hands on a flat path through extension. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field and flat approach, nearly all barrels, 83 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.97 60. Defensively, shows light, athletic, and quick feet to go along with above average hands. Arm action shows fluid length in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot showing accuracy at 78 mph.

A 5-foot-8, 150-pound muscular frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an even stance with lead foot very slightly open prior to hand load and stride and even more lightly closed after. Hand load is quiet with movement from shoulder to slightly lower position at start of straight, line-drive swing plane. Smoot, quiet motion with great balance leads to consistent contact out front. In BP, shows an all fields and flat approach, 83 mph exit velocity with very small stride and hip rotation. Runs a 6.97 60 with average strides and max effort. Defensively, shows good instincts, sometimes superfluous footwork covered up by incredibly smooth hands. On throws, shows an easy arm stroke coming through three-quarter arm slot with good accuracy at 78 mph.

Uses a smooth load with a controlled knee-knock leg kick, before launching his hands on a flat path through extension. In BP, shows a consistently flat and middle of the field approach, mostly barrels, 76 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.12 second 60. Defensively, shows advanced, quick, and active feet, to go along with above average hands. Throws from a high-¾ slot with a long arm stroke with some accuracy, 71 mph across the diamond.
